• 1987. 11 Established Graduate School
• 1990. 03 Became a National College(the Presidential Decree No. 12941)
• 1993. 03 Changed the name into Kumoh NationalInstitute of Technology(the Presidential Decree No. 13859)
• 1997. 03 Dr. Kim Jae-hun appointed as the second president
• 1998. 12 Commenced construction of the new campus(the first college)
• 2001. 03 Dr. Kim Jae-hun appointed as the third president
